Ten minutes away from ceremony time which is outside... it's sideways pouring rain. A quick decision was made to move the ceremony inside as the rain continued to get heavier. While everyone was pushing the reception tables around and setting the ceremony up inside, I immediately looked at Katie to see how she was handling it
So this post was suppose to be published back in November, but just noticed it didn't! Might as well publish it now rather than never, right??
Happy Fall Y'all!!
I loved photographing Katie and Zach's engagement out at Hope Valley in Lake Tahoe, California. The fall colors, the light, scenery and of course Katie and Zach... everything was SO beautiful. Katie was such a trooper hiking off trail through the bushes in her heels! However, the location we found was so perfect.

Well, I am now officially a college graduate from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. I received my BFA with a concentration in photography (Photography, never would have guessed that one, right). What an adventure the past five years has my life been..
We started their session downtown San Luis Obispo. We walked around the creek, crossing rivers and streets and also climbing on top of the parking walls. I’m sure people were thinking why are there people kissing in the middle of the street? I had such a great time photographing them and seeing the love that they have for each other. I am sure they didn’t know that their engagement session would be such an adventure but it was perfect!
